Since then she has been reluctantly dragged back into field operations by Agent Coulson. Despite her aversion to combat, she is quite capable of fighting when she has to, even if she isn't happy about it.

A long-time solo operative, Grant chafes when forced to work with a team and prefers to work alone whenever possible. Despite that, he has a sneaking respect for his new teammates and has taken the civilian consultant Skye under his wing, training her to function in the field.

An enigmatic hacker dedicated to the freedom of information, Skye was an orphan who as bounced from foster home to foster home. She has joined Agent Coulson's team but still has loyalties to Rising Tide, the organizations he has formed to expose the secrets of S.H.I.E.L.D. and other government organizations.
