"Life Line Booth" is a social outreach project where phone booths in underserved communities are transformed into havens by way of donated items. The impact small acts of kindness and love can have are documented in this bright and welcoming environment in an otherwise destitute area. LLB seeks to create a place of refuge, where anyone can freely take food, water, clothes, health and medical items - anything apart of the booth, and share their stories and knowledge with those listening ‘on the other end of the line.’
Homelessness in the U.S. and abroad cannot be solved through LLB’s efforts alone. But it is our belief, and the belief of the “dressers” to come creating Life Line Booths in neighborhoods of their choosing (and encouraged to share on LLB page). That with each day improved to those who live in the reality of day-by-day survival. With each story brought to light by the booth, thus shattering the stereotypes of those experiencing homelessness. Comes a greater sense of peace that will help to heal and strengthen those who have been forgotten. (Source: Pivot)
