Reuters Story
The first, and if rated low enough, the last installment of Rosie Live hosted by Rosie O'Donnell airs tonight on NBC. Featuring Alanis Morrissette and Alec Baldwin.
Personally I believe Rosie is a rude, over-opinionated b***h. I'll tune in because I like Rosie when she's not attempting to cause controversy to keep her career from crashing. It looks from the ADs on NBC that she's chilled off and trying to be cool and funny again. I'd be glad to see a comeback of variety shows I've seen in reruns and home video.

I don't like her because she's such bully. Her old stuff is good and this show was an attempt to re-establish herself as family-friendly. Within the first ten minutes she had already made reference to one of her kids asking why she had two mommies. Stuff like this throughout the show. She said in one of the advertisements that the show was "family fun". Even if it was kinda funny, I'm not sure how gay jokes are appropriate for the family. Whatever. It was an epic fail for me. |

I honestly don't pay enough attention to Rosie to say she's a b***h or anything like that. My mom use to watch her talk show when I was younger and I remember her being the host of the Kids Choice Awards every year. Actually, now that I think about it, she's guest starred on Nip/Tuck a few times, where she had a sex scene.  Oh God...now I'm going to think of that scene every time I see her.
I thought the show was pretty meh. I was switching back and forth between other shows while it was on. I thought this was just a one time thing though, I didn't know she was suppose to have another one after this.

She's so fat, it's a workout for her to type properly. I actually think that special made me hate her a little less cause at least she's not a complete b***h. I still don't like her until she can prove that she can hold back her attitudes and opinions for an hour, which she didn't do very well during that special. heck, had that special not sucked and became a series, I probably would have tuned it. |
