The Writers suck. Yes, it's not fair that they're not getting paid properly, but for them, it's all about them. What about all the other people -- make-up, janitorial, set design/construction, et al. -- that are focked?

I know a few people that are out of work due to this.

Sorry, no sympathy from me when it comes to strikes. So selfish.

I agree that strikes are selfish, but if workers didn't have the ability or the right to strike, our society would be a lot worse off. Strikes are irritating, yes, but still one of those things that we need to support and defend as necessary and essential in maintaining the type of society we want to live in. I completely support the writers, especially compared with how much money producers and others make off the royalties from these shows. The creative genius of the writers should be awarded more merit than it currently receives. I hope they do not capitulate.

If I go crazy then will you still call me Superman?

I wonder if they will try finishing up the years worth of shows by running the through the summer instead of repeats? They could still finish by the end of July and have time to make the new shows for next season.

The season dvd sets will look pretty weak when they are released for this season if they only have half a season to offer.

From The Futon Critic, here's a list of what series will be resuming production, how many episodes they have yet to air and will produce before season's end.

Not too shabby. 3 of the 4 shows I faithfully watch will start back up.

NBC's "Saturday Night Live," the only late-night show completely shelved by the writers' strike, is planning a Feb. 23 return if the writers ratify a contract agreement and head back to work.
