I'm surprised no one's started a thread for this one yet. Have you guys just not heard of it?

Kid Nation

I haven't watched reality tv in years, but I'm all for tuning in for this. To laugh, of course. Maybe possibly learn, but mostly to laugh.

War is God's way of teaching Americans geography.

I just saw the commercial for this tonight. It seems interesting enough and with a bunch of kids, it's bound to be a hoot.

Even if he goes crazy, I will still call Chris "Superman"

God. This looks sort of cheesy. I kind of started to roll my eyes win the Gold appeared. I mean, it's great and all. "I miss my brother in a wheel chair".

I'm still elligible to appear on the show, so I decided to look through the application, and they ask you hundreds of questions, most of them irrelevant, such as "Who did your parents vote for in the 2004 Presidential election? Do you agree with their decision? Why?" I doubt the 8 year olds could really answer that. Plus, why do they need to know. That's sort of private for some. Ugh. I should just apply, and then get on, and name drop some websites I know of..*coughtvragecough*. I'd represent, and win all those stars. I'd shout out random member names such as "HOLOPHONOR. NISHIKAZE. DORKUSMCFORKUS. SEBRIOTH. etc." Whatever. And for you Cindy, I'd go all Jack on everyone, and bollocks to the rules!...heh. Woah. 4:09. I obviously need sleep.

this will almost *definitely* fall under the "so amazingly bad it loops back around the good-bad spectrum and turns into good again" category. there's no way I'm missing this.

I know, but I guess if the parents are fine with their kids being in charge of an abandoned town the show is able to take place.

Well, apparantly there was some minor scuttlebut about child labor laws in New Mexico or something like that. And there's a rumor that some kids accidentally drank bleach. But other than that, the show should be going off without a hitch. Tonight's the night!

I think I pretty much HAVE to taste this show. If I never watch it, it will haunt me for the rest of my life. I'd hate to think of what I'd be like now had I never seen an episode of Amish in the City and Mose's little wooden toys. Oh, UPN, you retarded w***e.

EDIT: Hmm, well crap. Apparantly this aired earlier tonight. I wasn't even aware what day of the week today was. Oh well, Kid Nation's loss. I would have made a damn good viewer.

A bunch of news reports 4 kids.

Why must they cast annoying kids? Or ones that cry cause they're homesick? Don't apply for a reality show if you can't handle it.

Amish in the City was horrible.Ugh. That brings back nightmares.

I agree, you'd think someone along the way, be it the parents, or a relative, would have mentioned that maybe the kid can't handle being away from family for 3 days

Maybe they should've had the age limit be 9/10-15. 7 is way too young.
