Are there going to be coeditors or trusted contributers in the new version. Also if there are what can they do?

That didn't answer the question. You basically just said maybe.

Yes, there will. But the system will be different. Unlike TV Tome, where you just had to ask the editor and apply saying you had permission ^o), and TV.com where you must in the Top 5 contributors list, the editor will be the one who chooses the co-editor but he must give a valid reason for us approve his "Request". The editor and co-editor will have to fill some requirements. So don't go pestering editors to ask to become co-editor.

The editor will also be able to choose which clearance the co-editor will have - he can have full access to the guide (just like the editor) or limited, in which case he can choose between granting him Mod powers over the guide's forum, or direct access to certain parts of the guide (summaries, crew, etc...)

Murdock, does this mean if an editor chooses to not have a co-editor, even if someone else wants to, this is her or his right?

Yes. If someone wants to be co-editor because the current editor is doing a bad job then they are more likely to get the guide via Challenge.

This is the best and fairest way we could come up with to weed out those who want to be co-editors just because "the show rocks"... ^o) I could go on and on naming people who were co-editors at TV Tome and now are not even in the top 10 Contributors List of 90% of those guides in TV.com.

Those crazy Brits. Oh, jolly day. I got hurt playing sport. Please take me to hospital. Tea and crumpets. Bobpage.

Can we have the option of not having a co-editor. On some of my guides(my popular ones) I would want one, but others, i'd just like to keep myself.

What do you mean, "an option of not having a co-editor"? Didn't you read my post? It's the editor who decides if he wants a co-editor or not, so if you don't want one, all you need to do is not to appoint one.

Ah, I misread that. Sorry. I get it now. I think it will be handy having a partner. I was never an editor at either of the other websites, so I never got to experience that.

Hey Murdock, I know I can't become an editor, but do you think I can be a coeditor?
BTW: I already PM'd Seb about this but seeing as he's reencoding the site, I don't think I'll get an answer soon.
