As said before, i estimated it would take about 30 days (May 10th) to complete the website, But by having less daily time then i expected and underestimating the work load it will take a little longer then i first tought, The new TVrage will be online between 20 and 30 may, hope you can all stick around and wait a little longer! i will list a few of the new options the version will have that aren't listed in the Todo list:
- Seasonal Guides
- Voting for Shows/Episodes/Seasons + age/gender based statistics.
- Option to have summaries in multiple languages.
- AKA/Alternate air dates for episodes
- Polls in forums.
These are just a few of the many extra functionalities that will come.
Sorry for this delay, but will be worth the wait. |

LOL, that's always the way with things. ^o^
Thanks for putting in all this time and effort, and I think the least we can do is wait patiently, so no problem! |

Thanks for the update. I know that some users of our community have grown impatient over what they see as lack of progress, though I personally believe things have been moving along at the right pace. I admit that I too would like to see the updated site as soon as possible, though if the failures over at TV.com have proven anything, it’s that one should take their time and do something right rather than just rushing it out the door as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, not all of my thoughts on this update are positive; I am concerned that this could spoil some individuals and they may either be expecting too much or they may expect the site to keep updating as time progresses, though I feel that these updates shouldn’t be applied too frequently.
Regardless, I wish you the best of luck in ensuring things go smoothly; I understand that such a grandiose project will naturally take time, though perhaps the updates will be applied with as few inconveniences as possible. |

As time progresses i intend to keep updating the site as suggestions are made. but not one big update like this, the new version will then just be updated in small increments, until hopefully one day there is no need for anymore updates |

I mean I don't want to have whatsoever bad summaries in any of my guides... I suppose an other Section 31 -- Spellchecker (with a foreign language summary queue) -- is needed for this then o.0

Yeah, there will be mandatory Birth date/Gender, but it's separate from what will be shown on the profile so it's still optional to make it public or not.
As for summaries in other languages. If the editor doesn't speak it, there is an option to send the summary to one of the appointed people who will see the English summary and the Foreign summary and will then approve/reject it. |

The least we can do is be patient, so I'll be waiting eagerly for the new site. Thanks for putting so much effort into the site, I'm sure it will be amazing. |

Just as well. I won't be here much in mid-May anyway, so I wouldn't notice. |

I heard that as well. Anyway, I'm not upset...much. I'm fine with waiting, but I'm going to be gone for a few days soon, and I don't want to miss the update and come back one day and be like WTF?! |
