let's show some love for Joss Whedon!
for those who don't know, he created:
Buffy the Vampire Slayer (the movie and the tv-show)
Angel
Firefly
Serenity
Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog
and the upcoming show:
Dollhouse.
it's also been said that he want's to revive Buffy the Vampire Slayer for the big screen! I think he's an excellent writer/director/producer, and it's a shame that Firefly was canceled. as well as the other shows that were canceled, but maybe mostly Firefly, because it only had one unfinished season. Serenity gave the series some closure though, but not enough! he was also pretty mad when they re-wrote almost the entire Buffy-movie. Joss is the genius, you don't mess with his stuff!  |

That would be awesome to see a Buffy movie! As long as the original cast members would be involved.
Right now, I'm most excited for the Dr. Horrible DVD! I just found out the release date is December 19. |

well I doubt Sarah Michelle Gellar will be in it, she has turned it down so many times before... but it would be awesome to see Nicholas Brendan (Xander) again tho! |

What I can't believe is how Joss could even trust Fox again after the complete hosing they gave Firefly. Those sadistic bastards screwed Firefly from the first and he goes back to them with Dollhouse?
I'm thinking he's either a glutton or they bent over backwards for him. |

Yeah, Fox is not even going to promote Dollhouse good, and it will sadly end up canceled after 4 episodes. |

Not another Buffy movie. the series was great. I think he's squeezed enough out it and I am a guy whose seen the show, the movie with Kristy Swanson and read the graphic novels which are great. I look forward to his other projects though.
He also wrote for the X-MEN comics. The one show I'd really to see back if it ever happened was Angel. They never gave that show a real ending. |
