Earlier in the week I stumbled upon an old top 100 list by Kerrang! magazine. They ranked their top 100 albums that you must hear before you die. I liked the idea of it. 100 is a bit heavy to list, so why not 10. I'm still working on mine, so please share yours. |

Hmm. I guess these are the albums I'd be most likely to say "Hey listen, you gotta listen to this album or else our friendship is annulled":
- Bat Out of heck by Meat Loaf
- ...And Justice for All by Metallica
- Requiem for a Dream soundtrack
- LateralUs by Tool
- I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love by My Chemical Romance
- Sing the Sorrow by AFI
- Octavarium or Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence by Dream Theater (two albums, yes, but for the sake of variety...)
- Closer by Josh Groban
- Out Here All Night by Damone
- You're Awful, I Love You by Ludo
I might give more detailed analyses (or change the list altogether) later, but right now I'm feeling lazy. |
