*tips hat* YouTube is pretty awesome. My only regret is that I couldn't post the album version of In-a-Gadda-da-Vida.

Journey? Hard Rock?

One of these things is not like the others,
One of these things just doesn't belong,
Can you tell which thing is not like the others
By the time I finish my song?

I also laugh where the guy on YouTube wrote for Alice Cooper: the Original music video. Um, in 1972? Music videos ha not been invented. They did have promotional videos made by the studios, but they were not music videos.

I believe that they have around an eight minute time limit.

Yeah, the longest videos I've seen there don't exceed 10 minutes. And "Any Way You Want It" doesn't really scream hard rock either, I'll agree. Guess it fits better in that category than any of their other songs though...

This is one of the crappiest lists I've ever seen, in fact, VH1 blows. Here's a few problems:

Aqualung should be top 20
Dr. Feelgood, Everlong, and Give It Away should be off the list
Back in Black and Enter Sandman significantly lowered
Blitzkrieg Bop lowered by about 30
Jailbreak, Frankenstein, and Carry On My Wayward Son much higher

There's about 20 more grievances but I don't feel like listing them.

I personally cannot stand to listen to "Welcome to the Jungle." I think it's probably the worst Guns 'N Roses song. *adds this to the unpopular opinions thread*

Do you really want to know? And it's a proven fact that music is better while high anyway.

I can agree with most that Ryan said, except maybe adding Aqualung since I wouldn't technically qualify the song or Jethro Tull as Hard Rock! If they did add one of Jethro Tull's I'd pick Locomotive Breath, Crossed-eyed Mary or Hymn 43.

might be too much flute for a Hard Rock song, lol.

This list is really weak. While Tom Sawyer is a kickass song, since when is it hard rock? Same with Teen Spirit. GNR shouldn't be at the top, and it needs more Zeppelin. And why the heck is Bon Jovi and RHCP on this list?

What about Freebird? Far from "hard" rock.

Personally I think this list absolutely sucks. Aside from Led Zeppelin I don't like any of the bands in the top 25.

Yea Hymn 43 would probably be the most hard rockish Tull song. Love that riff. This list is totally pathetic. Most of VH1's lists are. Perhaps the most disgusting part of the list is the fact that 22 is "Hey Joe." Why in God's name is "Purple Haze" not the highest Hendrix song?

Or Voodoo Chile.

Yeah, you can't beat this line of Tull's which screams hard rock:
"If Jesus saves -- well,
He'd better save himself,
from the gory glory seekers,
who use his name in death."

haha for 4 years of high school I tried to get my teacher to play Hymn 43 during a Mass, never happened.

but my favorite Tull lyrics are:

Jump up, look around,
Find yourself some fun,
No sense in sitting there hating everyone.
No mans an island and his castle isnt home,
The nest is for nothing when the bird has flown.

I assume you know what its from...
