If I go crazy then will you still call me Superman?

The Tim Burton-ized version of Alice in Wonderland will hit theaters March 5, 2010, which seems so far away. But it's just close enough to show off how awesomely trippy Burton's re-imagining of the Lewis Carroll classic will be.

Johnny Depp reunites with his bestie director friend for the seventh time, to play the Mad Hatter. Judging by the picture, he is part Elijah Wood, part Carrot Top and all the way creepy.

And Depp isn't the only one getting a crazy Burton makeover...

The director's partner Helena Bonham Carter is scary in that deranged clown sort of way. And if her penciled-in eyebrows, receding hairline and clown makeup aren't terrifying enough for children, she'll also have a moat filled with bobbing heads to go along with her favorite phrase, "Off with their heads!"

Meanwhile all Anne Hathaway has to do for her part as the White Queen is don a blonde wig, otherwise she's just as pretty as ever.

Tim, you're a freakin' nut and a genius. The characters will be just enough to scare the kids and keep the adults interested.

I have now, lol. I wouldn't have given this film a second thought if it wasn't for Tim Burton being the director. Now it's a must see!

Actually, based on the trailers, I think it all looks pretty good EXCEPT Johnny Depp.

I don't even like the freakin cartoon one so I doubt I'll see this if I don't have to. BTW, what the heck is a white queen?

Would you believe that Syfy is going to show a TV movie of Alice in Wonderland, titled "Alice" during Dec. 2009?
