There was a movie I loved that was always on TV in the 90's. it was about a mean husband who drove his wife to "fake her death" and she came back to haunt him. i thought it had "diary" or something in the title...anything? haha i know it'll be hard... |

I can't...it's been like 5-7 years since I've seen it. But when I did watch it, it seemed like it was on TV all the time. I've been trying to look it up on wikipedia and imdb...but no luck. it seems a little like the plot to "sleeping with the enemy" but i think it was a lot better. |

Was it 'Enough' with Jennifer Lopez. It's from 2002 though. An abusive husband leads a woman to take her and her child on a run for survival.
Or
'Double Jeopardy' with Ashley Judd. This man fakes his own death, unknown to his wife, who is charged with his murder. They were both drinking the night of his "death", and so she believes she did commit the crime. Then she finds out he has a new life with a new wife, and breaks out of jail to kill him ("you can't be charged with the same crime twice"), and her husband tries to kill her, and stuff. |
