I'm not quite sure that Family Guy can be compared to other adult animated series out there these days, this series has a unique type of humour - almost to the point of surrealism. The gags can be read on so many levels and I can honestly say I've never managed to watch an episode without laughing out loud. The characters themselves are pure genius, especially the diabolical little Stewie, and Peter, two of the best fictional characters ever created. It may take awhile to grow on some people, but I think if it's given a proper chance any viewer could become a fan. Review posted on Tuesday, October 10th 2006 at 3:59 am |

Family Guy used to be one hell of a show, then it was cancelled but brought back to due large demand. The new episodes though just have not been consistant: Stewie was once an evil genius with a feminine side, now he's a flaming homosexual. Meg went from being the misunderstood neglected child to the butt of al jokes. I never though Chris was funny so I can't say anything about him. Peter went from being lovably ignorant to completely and pathetically stupid. Each new episode seems to have a 5 minute long song and dance sequence which just isn't funny. It's annoying is what it is. They try so hard with some jokes but they just arent' funny. And now we've got this lovely strike so it looks like FG's future is seriosuly in jeopardy.
