This is a show with family values and humor that should appeal to rednecks and non-rednecks alike. Unlike some of the other recent 'redneck' shows to join the bandwagon, this one does not portray the Robertson family as the deep south version of the Beverly Hillbillies. Sure, there is a lot of slapstick comedy but always with a positive spin and never mean spirited. There are characters (members of the Robertson family and close friends) to appeal to every generation. The show always ends with the family gathered around the table with a voice-over providing the moral of the episode. It is fun, inspiring and all of the characters are engaging. It is a show that the entire family can watch and enjoy. I am certainly looking forward to more. Review posted on Saturday, February 23rd 2013 at 4:40 am |
