The popular Barbie web series Barbie: Life in the Dreamhouse, aimed at tweenage girls, is coming to Nickelodeon for a television tryout. “Nickelodeon is a longstanding partner of the Barbie brand, this made them the perfect place to premiere our first half-hour special based on our popular web series,” said Ed Horasz, senior director of entertainment marketing for Mattel. “With more than 800 million web views worldwide, the extended episode lets Nick’s audience get a peek into Barbie’s life, and will pave the way for more Barbie: Life in the Dreamhouse content in the future.” (Source: Nickelodeon)
