The "Babe Ruth League" is a International youth Baseball and Softball organization. This league has many different age divisions & teams in each division that compete to play in the "World Series" championship of their division. The league was originally established in 1951 as a male only Baseball organization. In 1984 a girls Softball division was added to the league.
The Baseball divisions with age limits are as follows:
Cal Ripken 10 year-old
Cal Ripken Major/60 for ages 11-12
Cal Ripken Major/70 for ages 11-12
13 year-old
14 year-old
13-15 year-old
16-18 year old
The Softball divisions with age limits are as follows:
Little League Softball 9-12 year-old
Junior League Softball 12-14 year-old
Senior League Softball 13-16 year-old
Big League Softball 14-18 year-old
