The “Aruba Model Search” also known, as AMS is a reality series fashioned after “America’s Next Top Model” that was created by the beautiful, sexy and talented actress and supermodel Tyra Banks. The big difference is Aruba’s series has both male and female contestants and each season also called cycle they select both a male and female winner. The ages allowed to apply as contestants for this version of the series are between 14 and 24. This event prides itself in not only presenting a fantastic event in Aruba but to further help develop and launch potential international models from our island to all fashion capitals in the world.

The AMS2006 female winner signed a 5-year modeling contract with the prestigious Marilyn Agency in New York. Fernando Metz and Tyrone De Freitas, both AMS2006 male finalists, received international representation with the renowned Request Models in New York. Fernando Metz was part of the style supplement fashion editorial for Vibe Magazine and also appeared in a fashion editorial for Instinct Magazine. Alrick Tromp, AMS2007 male winner, has traveled to many countries and received international representation. Charlene Leslie, AMS2007 female winner, has received many offers and is going to sign a contract with Wilhelmina Model Management for international representation. AMS2007 finalists Jason Greaux and Vanity Tromp have both received international representation!
