Anna Lee was a short-lived British detective show, starring
Imogen Stubbs and based on the books of Liza Cody.
Anna begins the pilot, Headcase, as a C.I.D. detective, but she is frustrated in the Metropolitan Police and leaves to join a private agency.
Only six episodes were made, all in 1993, but each is two hours long. They have worn well, and the series is still sometimes repeated.
