Animal Maternity is a documentary series broadcast on Channel 5. The series takes a look at different high-drama animal births, including an urgent caesarean section, an antelope experiencing a traumatic birth and the live births of a wide range of creatures including a zebra and a snow leopard.

Frankie the giraffe is being pestered for milk at Woburn by all the other young giraffes and her newest baby cannot get in to feed. Staff at Chester Zoo are desperate to protect the remaining babies in the elephant herd having lost two youngsters to the fatal elephant herpes virus.
