UBC-TV is making its American Basketball Association national broadcast schedule announcement for this fall. The match-ups are exciting and the first game will be between this year’s champion The Jacksonville Giants and the South Carolina Warriors. UBC-TV has launched its Youtube channel that will feature promos and sizzle reels for the network and its launch line-up.
UBC-TV Network, a Harlem, New York based broadcast multi-media company and the ABA- American Basketball Association, has locked down the inaugural national broadcast schedule for ABA games to be broadcast on UBC-TV this fall.
The season will kick off with the Jacksonville Giants; last years’ championship team, hosting the SC Warriors in Jacksonville, Fla. on December 8th. The broadcasts will air every Saturday live on UBC-TV. There are currently 12 regular season games scheduled with the option for UBC-TV to add more. UBC-TV will also broadcast the ABA All-Star game, the play-offs and the championship game.
The games will be anchored by Bill Vargus, a two-time Emmy award winning sportscaster and Matt Waymire, has worked with Fox and NBC and has now signed on with UBC Sports. Color commentator will take on a local flavor with each home team giving its home town commentator a chance to work along with Bill Vargus and Matt Waymire. (Source: UBC-TV Network)
