Allein gegen die Zeit

Allein gegen die Zeit is a German series for kids and has a structure similar to 24.

It's Saturday and the students Ben (Timon Wloka), Jonas (Timmi Trinks), Leo (Janina Fautz), Sophie (Ruby O. Fee) and Özzi (Uğur Ekeroğlu) are in detention. When the teacher, Mr. Funke (Peter Lohmeyer), doesn't return from the staff room, the students start looking for him. They find out that the astronomy class - which is also at school on that day - is held hostage by a group of gangsters. The kids try to leave but all exits of the school have been locked. They realize that they are on their own and try to free the class.
