1x13: Tommy Madsen recap: The episode begins with a car burning in the background and Madsen on the ground in pain. Next, we see what happened 36 hours earlier. Madsen is talking to her captain, Ray Archer, and tells him that Tommy kicking her partner off the ledge was personal. The Captain tells her that her partner was a suspect of an I.A. investigation for some dubious payments from Harlan Simmons Company. They are being asked as to what happened in Alcatraz and what is it that they remember. At that moment, Hauser walks in and tells her that when they said take it easy, this is not what they meant. On their way to meet Beauregard, Lucy tells Hauser that she is ready to join the team, despite any abeyant side effects about being injected with a serial killer’s blood. He is taking her to see a patient, Webb Porter, who is in a room by himself in the hospital. It seems that Porter howls in the nights and in all likelihood is crazy. He hasn’t talked over a tear. He is definitely well above genius, as he has an IQ of 162...

Doc goes to see what a worker is doing as he hears some noise outside, he looks in the hallway and soon witnesses a murder; much to his shock and horror. It is at the hands of the Ames Brothers, who have returned to the island due to some previously unfinished business and the team is thus faced with not one, but two returning prisoners, who seem every bit as dangerous as their previous inmates. In their day on the island, they were famous for nearly making an escape, quite a feat considering the fact that Alcatraz was considered to be a completely inescapable prison...
