AFP: American Fighter Pilot is a two episode series on CBS that appeared in 2002. With a feel of both a documentary and a reality series, the show attempts to follow three USA Air Force officers (Lt. Marcus Gregory, Lt. Mike Love & Lt. Todd Giggy) as they train at Tyndall Air Force Base to fly F-15 fighters. Lt. Col. David "Beans" Freaney is the operations officer, Lt. Col. Monty "Stump" Cooper is the classroom instructor, and Major Robert "Shark" Garland is the weapons instructor. Each trainee had their own flight instructor (Gregory - Major David "Abu" Nahoum; Gibby - Captain Kevin "Divot" Nicholson; Love - Major Dennis "Cons" Scarborough).
Along with many others, Tony & Ridley Scott were Executive Producers for this series.
