Will's father George returns, harboring a spicy secret, in this intrigue-filled episode. As if sitting through "Seussical" on a date with a Frankenstein lookalike weren't rough enough, Grace spies George at the theater--getting very cozy with a woman who isn't Will's mother. After she spills to Will, he goes into denial, refusing to deal with this revelation. But an explosion comes anyway when George's giggly mistress is indiscreet. Meanwhile, Karen and Jack plot to nail Stan, who's also suspected of adultery.

Episode Notes

Rosario did not appear in the original 40 minute episode, but appears in Part 2 of the syndicated version.

Originally aired as a one hour episode, though syndication will usually air them in two half hour episodes. NBC counts this as one episode, as they will with any W&G episodes that air as a one hour episode. This may also include Super-Sized (40 minute episodes).

Episode Quotes

Grace: I'm so confused! I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone and all the other people are pigs... and I'm the pretty one, but everyone thinks I'm ugly, because they're all pigs and they think pigs are pretty!

Episode Goofs

In this episode we find out that Karen's full name is Karen Delaney St. Croix Popeil Walker.

See the blue in the limo's windows? The crew uses a blue background for driving scenes. Instead of using a stillframe of them sitting in a street, they dampened the lights to give a "streetlight" effect. You can tell it's fake.

Cultural References

Grace: I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone and all the other people are pigs...

Inb case you were wondering, that episode of The Twilight Zone was actually #42 entitled "The Eye Of The Beholder." Tina then makes reference to episode #8 called "Time Enough At Last," and then to Burgess Meredith's role as The Penguin on the original Batman.

Grace: No! I am serious! I feel like a Jewish Jane Goodall, and you're "Goyim In The Mist!"

A funny reference to the film Gorillas In The Mist.

Will: And what do you think of the chicken drumettes, Pop? You know, I used a little marmalade the glaze. I call the recipe "Chicken Lady Marmalade."

A quick reference to the LaBelle hit "Lady Marmalade."

Grace: I mean, we're just talking about it, and then whoomp-- there it is!
Will: "Whoomp, there it is?" What am I supposed to say? "Who let the dogs out?"

A funny and strangely placed reference to the Tag Team song "Whoomp, There It Is" and the Baha Men song "Who Let The Dogs Out?"
