When Grandma Betty brings her boyfriend over for dinner, Dave finds out she's been spending a lot of dough on him, and things get out of hand. In fear she will spend his inheritance on this "gigolo", Dave begins spinning false accusations. Meanwhile, Vicky and Dave try show Hilary how hard it is to raise a baby hoping she will break it off with Keith; and Larry begins to show an interest in Dave's baseball collection, which Dave is proud of at first, until he finds out Larry is only selling the cards on EBay for money. | | There are no foreign summaries for this episode: Contribute |

Episode Notes |
| |
Usually episodes begin with a cut scene from Dave, however, this one did not. | Apparently, the only reason Dave and Vicky are married is because Vicky became pregnant with Hilary. | At the end of the episode, Keith leaves Hilary to try and reconnect with his baby's mother. [Highlight to see] | Apparently, all three kids were "mistakes". |

Episode Quotes |

Mike: Hey, Hillary, you were an accident!
Dave: Shut up, so were you! | Larry: Hey, Dad, uh, you busy?
Dave: No.
Larry: Can I ask you something?
Dave: No. | Dave: Wow, this really takes me back. Look at this one. This one's probably the most valuable one in the collection. Reggie Jackson, Mr. October.
Larry: He was a centerfold?
Dave: No, the playoffs are in October. | Dave: Sweetie, why'd you have to invite your mother over for dinner? Didn't we just see her, like, a month ago? | Dave: You invited Keith? Keith the baby daddy? The kid with the kid who's dating our kid? Are you kidding me? | Dave: Hey, I don't know about you, but I really like that Jack guy.
Vicky: Yeah? What's to like about him?
Dave: He's nice. He's funny. And best of all, he's loaded.
Vicky: He's a drinker?
Dave: No, he's rich, but if he was a drinker, that would explain what he's doing with your mother. | Dave: Kid's got baseball fever.
Jack: When I was his age, I had scarlet fever. | Vicky: Starting tomorrow, I am managing this family's finances.
Dave: All right, knock yourself out. You know, there's really not that much to manage. | Dave: So that Jack, he's a real catch, huh?
Betty: Oh, tell me about it.
Dave: Yeah. I was thinking, Betty, you know, you were with somebody for 40 years, huh? Don't you want to get out there and, you know, play the field?
Betty: Dave, I'm 67. How many players do you think are on the field? | Dave: So that Jack, he's a real catch, huh?
Betty: Oh, tell me about it.
Dave: Yeah. I was thinking, Betty, you know, you were with somebody for 40 years, huh? Don't you want to get out there and, you know, play the field?
Betty: Dave, I'm 67. How many players do you think are on the field? | Dave: So maybe now you'll understand why I get upset when I hear you say things like, "I can't wait to have a baby." I just don't want you to wind up miserable like me. | Jack: I'd better lie down.
Betty: Oh, Larry, Mike, help me get him to the couch. Don't worry. I won't let him steal the change from behind the cushions.
Vicky: Well, he'd better not. Apparently, that's our savings account. | Mike: Jack seems nice, Grandma, but he just reminds me of how much I miss Grandpa.
Betty: Oh, yeah. Well, I miss him, too, Mike.
Mike: Every time he saw me, you know, he'd give me a little gift -- $5, $10... $20... you know?
Betty: Yeah. Well... he's dead. ( |
