In the final scene, two unidentified black males enter the diner, a reference back to the season five episode, "Unidentified Black Males."
In the ending scene, a man with a Members Only jacket enters the diner. This is a reference back to the season 6 premiere, "Members Only."
When the man walks into the restroom at in Holsten's, he is at the 3 o'clock position in relation to Tony. This is a reference to both "From Where to Eternity," in which Christopher wakes from his coma and reveals that the ghost of Mikey Palmice and Brendan Filone told him to tell Paulie "three 'o-clock," and "The Ride" in which Paulie wakes up at 3:00am to wait for his biopsy results. Since "The Ride," Paulie became preoccupied with 3:00am.
