Episode Quotes

Control Voice: (opening narration) What is our last line of defense? Is it the military with all of their power and might? Or is it the courage of a solitary man?

Thornhill: Mr. Strong. If you are aware of this committee then you must be aware of its purpose.
Strong: Sir, this committee was formed to investigate unforeseen external threats to the United States
Thornhill: That’s exactly correct! Suffice it to say that we have not come to the same conclusions that you apparently have.
Strong: Then it will be up to me to convince you…

Waters: You know… Strong was right about those sandkings. They could be a real problem in twenty or thirty years.
Fisk: You think they can survive in a methane atmosphere?
Waters: I don’t know. But I suppose anything’s possible.

Control Voice: (closing narration) Sleep soundly in the knowledge that the dawn will come. Rest assured that our leaders are watching over us, but beware – for it is only their vigilance that stands between our restful slumber… and the end of the world.

Episode Goofs

Bloodless?
When Thornhill digs the bullet from the wall, there is no blood on it. There should be since it passed through his body on its way into the wall.
