This was a special one-hour episode.
| When Creed is singing karaoke near the end of the episode, he is singing a song called "Spinning & Reeling," a song that the real-life Creed Bratton wrote and released.
| Skeptical about allowing his "Your Body is a Wonderland" to be used in the episode, John Mayer agreed when B.J. Novak explained the scene in which it would be used. He asked for one thing in return... a custom Dundie award, which he was given.

In reality, the closest Benihana to Scranton is nearly 50 miles away in Pennsauken, New Jersey.
| Creed was already at the office when Dwight brought in the dead goose, yet we see him come into work again and take a toy from the box WHILE Dwight is seated at his desk. This is obviously a continuity error that slipped through the cracks.
