Sandy once again represents Ryan, but this time for the arrest following the model home fire. After his release, Ryan searches for his mother, and once she's found, Ryan agrees to give her a second chance. However, when Dawn accompanies the Cohens and Ryan to a Casino Night, Dawn drinks heavily and Kirsten sees how unfit Dawn is in being a mother to Ryan. Meanwhile, both Sandy and Julie find out that Kirsten lent Jimmy $100,000 to help him with his debt, resulting in an argument between Sandy and Julie.

Dawn: I'm an embarassment to my son.
Kirsten: Welcome to my world.

Sandy: It's gonna be okay.
Ryan: My mom ditched me. I burned your wife's house down. How is this going to be okay?

Summer: [Ryan] still hasn't called you back? He was in lockup. Maybe he's into dudes now.

(about Kirsten taking Ryan out of lockup)
Sandy: Never knew you to be an impulse shopper.

Julie: He basically called me white trash! He said I was from Riverside!
Jimmy: Honey, you are from Riverside.
Julie: It was his tone!

Sandy: Well. I should be off. Gotta find the next kid to jeapordize the community. Maybe a black kid. Or an Asian kid.

Seth: By the end of the night, [Summer] might know my first name.

Kirsten: Ryan's gonna stay with us now.
