Jack is stuck in the middle of a confusing case when an old friend confesses to securities fraud but his wealthy in-laws harm his defense. Meanwhile, Grant represents the city in a suit filed against a gun manufacturer; Riley deals with being overworked; and Traub searches for more reasons to not declare Jack's mentor's death a suicide.
