Tonight's "live" show features Craig's announcement that the show will be going HD on August 31st. We then get Craig's thoughts on porn (running out of ideas?) in the monologue. Also, a new episode of VH1's Behind the Music is previewed (featuring Craig as "Brick Johnson" and Dwight Yoakam). Later, being that it's "late August", JON CRYER stops by to promote his new movie, Shorts.

Episode Goofs

Craig: Take that all you other late night shows. Now all you've got ahead of us is a band and a budget and a structurally sound place. An American born host. Jokes. Alright you still win.

Craig: Anyway starting in a few weeks if you got the fancy new digital television you'll be able to watch this show in the HD. When I heard that we were going to the HD I thought we already had it. Doesn't HD stand for huge douchebag? I've been HD on this show for five years.

Craig: You know who should be worried? Porn stars. Because people demand their porn in hi-def these days and it's tough for porn stars to make certain...areas...look good in HD.

Craig: Why is everyone in porn called a "porn star" anyway? Where are the good old porn character actors? You know the characters actors, the working stiffs!
