Episode Summary

[x] Remove Ad
The 15th annual X-Games are taking place in Los Angeles and that's the focus of tonight's monologue. Later, Craig answers viewer emails and (of course) gets his usual round of wackiness supplied by his viewers. Later, JAMES SPADER (ex-Boston Legal star), stops by for a rare talk show appearance to plug his new movie, Shorts.

Episode Quotes

Craig: Do you know it's very nice to look out into the studio audience and see such lovely summer dresses? I'm just looking around at these lovely...and the ladies too.

Craig: (talking about the winners at the X-Games) ...I don't know what they win, a bong or something.

Craig: See when i see those guys at the X-games and they do those cool tricks, I think I wish I could do that. That's the mark of a good spectator sport, when I watch Baseball I wish I could hit a major league fastball, I wish I could do that. When I watch the Olympics and see the sparkly leotard twirling ribbon event...I wish I could stop doing that.

Craig: (reading viewer email) This is from L in Ottawa, Ontario in Canada. Says Craig why haven't you replied to any of my emails?

Craig: (reading viewer email) Chris in Henderson (Nevada) says Craig, what's your autobiography about? Wise ass!

Episode Goofs

When talking to James Spader about the upcoming movie, Shorts, Craig accidently lets it slip that he's already interviewed actor Jon Cryer (who is also in the movie) and then must admit that that interview won't air until later in the month of August.
