Mother Buchanan is initially delighted that Bree Larson has arrived to wed her youngest son, Jesse -- Bree's future sisters-in-law, however, are unimpressed with her naivety. But everyone changes their opinion of her when Bree politely refuses to wear Mother Buchanan's wedding dress.

Episode Notes

The original title of the pilot was "The Four Mrs. Buchanans." As Suzanne Sommers pointed out when the cast appeared on her talk-show, this was sort of dumb since the cast never changed -- there were always four daughters-in-law and a mother-in-law.
