Andrew takes a look at the story of German art in the 20th century in this final episode. He takes a look at Hitler and the art of the Third Reich. He travels to a warehouse in Spandau, where the Deutsche Historische Museum keeps larger objects it doesn't have the room to display. Andrew takes a look at the Wehrmacht statue by Arno Breker. He then makes his way to Berlin and Dusseldorf where he discovers how art became an arena of the Cold War. He then visits the Leipzig art school and meets Neo Rauch. The series ends with a look at the work of Joseph Beuys who is one of the most influential artist of modern times.
