This episode was shown in Canada (The Movie Network) on 28 november 2005, a couple of weeks before the regular airdate in the US.
| "The Sancuary," as it is called in this episode, was created so that people could work on ascention without worrying about the Wraith destroying them. This was made possible by a time dialation field which accelerates time inside the field.
| This is the first episode of the series not to feature a Stargate.
