On eBay, a user is selling the original pilot for Smallville (along with the pilot for Mercy Reef), which featured a woman named Cynthia Ettinger as Martha Kent, instead of Annette O'Toole. They're obviously bootlegs, as the person has nine of them up for sale. Even so, I bought one, as I was curious. Also, I wanted to get the Mercy Reef pilot on DVD, so I figured this was a win - win situation. I'm not going to link it, as I've heard you can't link to downloading sites or episodes on YouTube, so I don't see this as being any different, though you're welcome to search for it for yourself. I will, however, leave you with the image that the user provided for proof.
When I get my item, I'll give you a review on it. |

I've watched the unaired pilot episode.
Its the same as the original, the only difference is in the actress playing Martha Kent, so its not a big deal. |

As you probably know, Smallville shows tonight after a long, long break. So long in fact, it feels like years or something.
Anyway, Smallville Persona is gonna be awesome. Ad the reason why s because it’s a sort of continuation of the Bizarro storyline introduced in “Gemini.”
And as Jess says, “I can feel it in my boots”.

not sure if you knew this but Annette O'Toole played Lana Lang in Superman III, so I thought that made it kinda cool that she got a major role in the Superman TV series |
