Background: Lana Lang at a young age experienced the greatest tragedy when she saw both of her parents killed during the meteor shower of 1989 that brought Clark to Smallville. Lana is the love of Clark's life and they have been an on and off kind of couple since season 3. Lana at one point ran the talon a coffee shop right in the heart of Smallville… After a brief period, she decided to hand it down to Martha Kent. Lana is currently working with Lex Luthor to try to solve the mysteries behind the meteor shower that took her parents when she was a little girl.
Powers: When Lana was possessed by her distant relative Isabel, she had possessed all the powers of a witch, including conjuring spells. When Lana was near Clark with a green meteor rock and lightning struck, she absorbed his powers for nearly an episode before electricity and a green meteor rock took them away again. She has a knack for hatching nearly foolproof devious plot twists, such as faking her own death, and devising a trap for Chloe and Clark to discover Clark's abilities.
