Murphy, sick of looking at the cold, bare surroundings of Sealab, decides to hire a "Feng Shui" decorator to liven the place up, but quickly exhausts the lab's entire budget. Quinn isn't convinced and soon learns that Master Loo is actually an impostor.

The serial number on the Sealab deed is "934TXS." This is another mention to "934 Texas," something referenced numerous times on the show.
 
During the episode, there are two separate scenes in the graffiti-filled room with the telephone. The second scene has a new line of graffiti that reads, "This graffiti is not different stop pausing."

Title: Murphy Murph and the Feng Shui Bunch

The episode title is a parody of the early 90's band Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch. The band is most famous for the 1991 dance hit "Good Vibrations."
 
At the end of the episode, Meatwad and Master Shake from Aqua Teen Hunger Force make an appearance. ATHF, as it's commonly abbreviated, aired on Adult Swim along with Sealab 2021 and shared some of the same cast and crew members.
