Debbie: Why wont you.. you know?
Quinn: Gah! Would you just let it go!
Debbie: Well, you drink tea!
Quinn: SO?
Debbie: So why wont you kiss me there? | Quinn: C'mon, let me go. I'll grant you a wish.
Hunter: No way! I'm gonna sell you to Ocean Land.. for about a zillion bucks. | Whale: Did you know that the average fish today contains more mercury than a rectal thermometer?
Quinn: Yeah.. I think I read that somewhere.
Whale: Would you eat a rectal thermometer? Answer me damn you! | Whale: Ah, mercury. Sweetest of the transition metals. |

Apocalypse Now:
The scene with Captain Murphy and Marco is taken directly from Francis Ford Coppola's war epic Apocalypse Now (1979). The dialogue is nearly identical to that of Martin Sheen and Marlon Brando's exchange of words. | The title and concept of this episode is a reference to the film Waking Life (2001), which is a movie compiling short, strange clips about the meaning and purpose of life and the universe. |
