Runaway

The show follows a family of five on the run from the law. Paul, Lily, and their three children, Hannah, Henry and Tommy, are on the run because Paul has been blamed for a murder he did not commit, and the real murderer, who framed Paul, sent them a letter implying he should stay hidden or his family would be killed.

Agent Angela Huntley of the U.S. Marshals Service is taking the lead in hunting them down. The Raders have changed their names and must lie to everyone they meet. Actually from Maryland, they are now claiming they are from New Orleans and, being victims of Hurricane Katrina, have changed locations 4 times. To avoid being caught, the family must not keep anything that connects them to their old life, nor can they communicate with anyone from their old town.

As the family attempts to adjust to their new lives, Paul is attempting to clear his name while also protecting the family from harm from the people who framed him or discovery by the authorities. Lily is trying to hold the family together while struggling with reconnecting with her once-distant husband. Henry is upset that the family is on the run from the law and misses his old life and his girlfriend. On the other hand, Hannah is excited that they're starting over because, with a fresh start, she can now be one of the "cool" people. And Tommy is having trouble remembering his new name and cover story.
