I was under the impression that Psych wasn't back until January, but I'll guess that because of the writer's strike and since they've already filmed a bunch, might as well put it on when there's no competition. |

Or maybe like monk's xmas special last year, they decided to air both Monk's new one and this one near xmas.. =P
