I liked this episode more than I liked last week's. I loved Shawn lurking outside the doors of the morgue with that ridiculous T-rex head. The cultural references were good, like Of Mice and Men (great Lennie impression) and the whole thing with Shia and Holes. And of course, Shawn and Gus running away and screaming will always be hilarious. |

I liked it better than last week's episode. I loved when Henry kept ruining Shawn's intended reveals. The wearing of the giant T-rex head was great, both in the show and the outtakes.
And I liked that they made Lassiter appear really good at his job. With a gimmick like this show's, you're in danger of making the police characters look incompetent compared to Shawn. Plus, Lassiter's always so sad when Shawn solves a case; it's nice to see him successful and happy sometimes–and to give Shawn a little competition. |
