| Shawn is revealed to be an intolerant bigot

!!!!!! This review contains spoilers !!!!!!
It started out great, the HIndi version of the opening credits, the cute guy from Heroes.
And then Shawn shows himself to be an intolerant and ignorant racist.
He refuses to call Raj by his own name and insists on Anglocizing it.
I've seen this kind of crap from really old people who don't like "WEIRD" or "furren" sounding names... but someone Shawn's age who lives in CA?
Then, in what was the nadir of the entire show ever. Shawn (as the UNinvited guest in someone's home) says something like it's "STUPID that YOU PEOPLE eat food this hot". Really? You're going to insult an entire culture because their food differs from what you like? How Gus & his girlfirend didn't smack him right there I don't know. I can't eat Indian food eitehr because of the spice, but I don't deride an entire nation/race over my taste buds not being compatible with their food. What does he expect everyone to eat the same food he /his family/ his race does?
Then he mangles some other people names (he thinks he's being clever by calling someone Dipstick- instead of embarrassed that he can't take the time to pronounce someone's name correctly?)
And lastly he co-insults both Native Americans and Indians by yelling out "indiangiver" and then explaining "I mean to insult a whole different race of people". Good for you Shawn, you've insulted 2 group (only 1 intentionally) and insulted all of your viewers.
And just in case you don't care about ethnic sensitivity, the show had to close with a sexist comment about his getting hit by a "girl". That woman happened to be a homicidal nut -- but sure, let's get in some oldfashioned sexism.
Shawn has never been my favorite character, too arrogant, too selfish, whatever-- but to find out he's some ignorant & insensitive racist really ruined the entire show for me, I'm not sure I can watch it again.
The writers should be ashamed of passing ignorance, intolerance and cultural sensitivity off as humor.
It's not funny when my 90 grandmother makes racial jokes, it's especially NOT funny when someone growing up in CA, in this generation that has been raised to know better.
