As far as season premieres go, it was pretty good. Not my favorite episode ever, but it set up everything for the rest of the season.
It's about time Lucas and Peyton got together. The opening scene threw me off at first, but it was a pretty neat opening. It should be fun watching Lindsay and Lucas interact now that he's with Peyton, especially after the phone message she left for him.
Jamie dancing was one of the cutest things ever. It must be a blast working with that kid on set.
Carrie and Dan seems like a total ripoff of Misery. I'm not sure I like it too much, but I'm sure Dan won't let her win....
All in all, pretty good episode. |

Seeing the promos tonight, the upcoming episodes look really good. Too bad OTH is getting shafted behind Gossip Girl and 90210, probably because it's older. |

Yeah. It was kind of funny. My sister (who is a big fan of OTH) came into the room mid-commercial, and saw Brooke with the bruises. Her jaw literally dropped to the floor.  She also missed the first episode.  |

I finally saw the episode. I was doing homework, so I didn't really pay attention at all. Kind of obvious but glad that Lucas picked Peyton. The beginning was confusing, with the multiple "wives" thing or whatever.The Ayer dance was funny with Jamie. The ending was really shocking with Dan. I can't believe she hit him. I was really shocked. And then they showed Brooke getting attacked.  Good use of Violet Hill at the end. |
