Episode Quotes |
| |
Lucas: Listen, we've been so caught up in Peyton and Nathan, I feel like I haven't really checked in with you. How you doing without Felix around?
Brooke: Fine. He was not the guy for me.
Lucas: Well I'm sure the guy's out there somewhere.
Brooke: Maybe. But I'm scared to open up my heart like that again.
Lucas: Isn't the alternative even scarier?
Brooke: Sure I get lonely sometimes. That's hard. But I guess that's the price you pay for figuring out what you really want, right? | Nathan: Rig up a dart board with Chris' face on it and I'm in. | Lucas: I'm home.
Karen: I am so glad!
Lucas: Me too, Mom. Hey Brooke.
Brooke: Hey.
(Karen watches as Brooke and Lucas appear nervous around each other)
Karen: Well, now that we are all here together, we need to set some new ground rules. I know that the two of you had a history.
Brooke: (almost sadly) Oh, don't worry Karen. We're just friends. Nothing more. | Brooke: Hey.
Lucas: (sweeping up TRIC) Hey, thanks for coming. Ah, I got some extra trash bags.
Brooke: Your kidding, right.
Lucas: Yeah. You know, we did really well for Nathan last night. Particulary, since you snuck in your allowance check from your folks.
Brooke: Oh, don't think of it as allowance. Think of it as 3 skirts, 4 tops, 2 bags, and a lot of really hot lingerie.
Lucas: That had to be tough for you.
Brooke: It just seemed like it was time to spread the common wealth.
Lucas: That's gonna mean a lot to Nathan. I'm just sorry you had to give everything back.
Brooke: Well, not everything. Do you think I'm terrible for keeping these really cute wedges?
Lucas: No. | Lucas: Look, did you, you know, feel like, I mean, did you wanna --
Nathan: Did I wanna, what?
Lucas: Kill yourself. 'Cause, if that’s what happened, you need to see somebody.
Nathan: I’ll check out Dr. Phil this afternoon.
Lucas: How long are you gonna dodge talking to me about this?
Nathan: How long are you gonna dodge telling me you knew my mom was a pill-head? Now, look, I screwed up, I hit the wall. That’s all there was to it. Okay? |
