Episode Quotes

Lucas: (voiceover) What a frightening thing the human is, a mass of gauges and dials and registers, and we can read only a few and those perhaps not accurately.

Deb: (to Dan) Pack a bag or so help me God I will stab you in your sleep.

Nathan: A month ago did you think we'd be alone in your bedroom?
Haley: Oh, but we're not alone in my bedroom; we have the forefathers with us.
Nathan: They can watch.

(after Nathan comes to Haley's house from the hospital)
Nathan: Haley, can I stay with you tonight?
(Haley nods and closes the door)

(to Deb, sarcastically)
Nathan: I'm happy mom. Dad loves me.

Episode Goofs

During the episode it is clear that Chad Michael Murray's (Lucas) C.M.M. tattoo has been covered by skin tape. If you look carefully you can see part of the tape.

While Keith is talking to Lucas about his new tattoo, Lucas' sleeve goes from being rolled up to being down between shots near the end of the scene.

Episode Title: With Arms Outstretched

"With Arms Outstetched" is a song by Rilo Kiley.

Analysis

Even though Nathan took game enhancing drugs, he suffers no consequences at school. However in reality, students caught with drugs at school or caught taking drugs to enhance their ability on the court would suffer major consequences, which may include suspension or expulsion from school.
