Ino Yamanaka, played by Colleen O'Shaughnessey
Sakura's childhood friend turned rival, Ino is referred to by Naruto as the 'Loudest Kid from the academy'. She does much to live up to her reputation. Like every other girl from her village, she has her eyes on Sasuke. This led to her bitter rivalry with Sakura.
When the two were kids, Ino and Sakura were best friends. Ino motivated Sakura, then a nervous child, to become more confident. She would later give Sakura a ribbon to signify their friendship.
Ino has a special bloodline trait which is a mind transfer technique. It allows her to put her soul into another person body. Once there, she can control that person. This jutsu has a side affect however, it's a one-hit miss situation. If she were to miss, her body would become incapacity for short time. |
