Iruka, voiced by Quinton Flynn
Along with the Third, Iruka is one of the few people in Konoha who sympathizes with Naruto. Iruka and Naruto share a brotherly bond throughout the series. Iruka is the academy teacher and still treats all the rookies like his students. During the Kyuubi's attack on Konoha, both of his parents were killed, leaving him to fend for his own, similar to Iruka.
During the beginning of the series, Mizuki, a fellow chuunin instructor, tricked Naruto into stealing the Hokage's forbidden scroll. Iruka was the first to find Naruto, but after Mizuki's revealing of the Kyuubi, led Naruto into running away. Throughout the whole ordeal, it's revealed that Iruka had a similar childhood like Naruto, which is the reason their bond is so strong. After defeating Mizuki, Naruto is promoted to a Genin.
