Did anyone else watch the season premiere? I kind of hate Sarah Silverman, but I really liked her in this episode. I love that she gave Monk's cases episode titles. And Randy wasn't a complete fool this episode, for once. That was nice to see.

I agree that Randy was much better in this episode than in the past. I felt bad for him while he was stuck as a baby-sitter, but was glad when his "timber" skills helped catch the guy.

Sarah Silverman was great in this episode, but found it a little odd when Marci just suddently decided she didn't like Monk anymore. Also liked that Stottlemeyer had more of a detective role in this episode than in the past.

Great season opener. What could be better than Monk and Psych together?

I'm actually hating this season so far, as a whole. This ep was pretty good, but Mr. Monk and the Rapper was the worst episode of the show's entire run, IMO.

Monk isn't getting on my nerves as much as he used to, maybe that's why I like the season better.

Plus I like Sarah Silverman and Angela Kinsey and Sharon Lawrence so good news for me. LOL
