A tight-knit Russian community in Brooklyn is shaken by the ritualistic murders of four people. The detective in charge of the investigation, Lt. McCormick, calls in Frank and teams up with a Russian police officer, Yura Surova. Surova's people believe that the person responsible for these murders is a Russian mythological being called Yaponchik...
